a Photo Journaling Journey
with Ahu and Luisa
from Marrakech to the Sahara
May 14 - 24, 2022
Arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport and travel by private car to our Riad in the historic Medina minutes walk from the famous square, Jamaa el Fna, where snake charmers, fortune tellers, monkeys, and musicians dwell among the many exotic items for sale. We eat dinner together and connect with our traveling sisters.
Days 2 & 3
After breakfast, we travel over the High Atlas through the beautiful oasis along the Dades Valley. We spend relaxing nights at Kasbah Tebi in Ait Ben Haddou. Throughout your day, discover with Luisa and Ahu how connecting with your genius creates inspired photography and musings.
"The Sahara is essential." - Channel Washington, traveler, 2016
Days 7 & 8
We travel toward Marrakech visiting Todgha Gorge along
the way. We spend two nights sleeping in pitch dark cave rooms at Auberge Le Festival. A chance for indulging in your own company. Expect yummy organic meals right from their garden. Amazing day hikes along the river where Nomads still live in primitive caves.
Days 4, 5, 6, & 7 We journey by camel out into the dunes, living home free like Nomads that move from place to place. Imagine connecting with the simplicity of the beauty and solitude in the Sahara. We find moments to share our visions, create soul photography, and explore creative writing. The warm campfires, lively stars, fresh air and magic await us.
Day 9, 10 - We spend our last two nights in Marrakech. You'll have the opportunity to explore the Medina through your lens. Capture the soul and ancient mysticism of the Imperial Red City.
Day 11, we depart.
